
Honorable Matthew Ung
Matthew A. Ung, a lifetime resident of Woodbury County, was elected to the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors November 4, 2014, and was sworn in November 10, 2014, to fill out the remainder of a term in addition to his four-year term. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Creighton University along with a Master of Theology degree, and has over 10 years’ experience in healthcare administration. He has been married to his wife Nheylin for over 5 years.
His focuses are to champion tax relief, prioritize essential functions of government, like infrastructure, and contribute to long-term economic planning and development. Matthew believes county residents want a customer-oriented Board of Supervisors that is transparent, responsive, and accountable.
